It went okay this morning. Not too much pain. Got home, stayed up for the grocery delivery, and then took some pain meds and took a nap. About to take a shower, and go to bed.

I am awaaaaake. But I managed to sleep until after 5 to me. Which is sleeping in by a long shot. So there's that.
 I don't have much to say right now. I had a good but exhausting day yesterday - a friend came over to play games and hang out and we ate good food and laughed and were silly and all the things that brighten my day. Despite the pain it was awesome and I missed him and I'm happy he's back in town. I'm happy the weekend is over. Not that it matters since I don't have a job or anything but weekends always make me nervous. They always have. And I have no idea why. Wishing you all ease and comfort today. I'll check in throughout the day, more than likely. I plan on devoting my time today to rest and writing, for the most part.

I go to WVU to see the specialist again tomorrow.
We have to stay over night again and the appointment isn't until Wed. I am armed with some very clear and important questions which I have written down and stashed in my purse. Although I am looking forward to seeing the foliage, I hate leaving Belle and my panic is having panic. __________________ I still dream and I still hope, therefore I can take what comes today. my news is good news...  it wasn't a complete tear of the retina, only a bulge, which allowed fluids to leak out similar to a tear... so it will heal without lazar help~! i never sleep before a doc apptmt... PTSD ,, gotta love it~

Yay Gus! Great to hear it! Good news is such a welcome change.
I actually slept until after 6 this morning! It ended up being almost 8 hours total! That never happens anymore! So my news is good too, haha! Hope you all have a lovely day. I'm just taking it easy today, mostly. It's raining really hard here which I'm glad for after all the dry heat this summer.

Awesome Gus
Well I had a day from hell. I was on my way to the pulmonary doctor when I called my nana only to find out she was hysterical. Her cousin passed away. She went to bed and just didn't wake up. It was a shock to everyone. I couldn't miss my appointment because I needed my meds. None of them are controlled drugs but every so many months he wants to "see" me. Hubby says he needs to make his Mercedes payment. I told nana I would be in asap. So the tears were rolling when I walked in which is kinda good because he took me right away usually I have 1-2 hour wait. From there to the pharmacy then to Nana's where I spent the rest of the day. On the way home I stopped at the police station. My daughter is in an abusive relationship and this time he went to far. I was told I could fill out a report. Turns out I can't so more tears. Then I called my brother in law who is a retired officer I think he was so upset because he to,d me to go that his wife heard. So she started texting everyone in the family and them some. I just want to crawl into bed and not get up hopefully tomorrow will be better. Sorry I don't have much to offer. Take care everyone Hugs __________________

Thinking of you today, Jan. I hope your appt. goes well. Cake, sorry about your day from hell! My condolences for your loss, as well. Spondi, You do a great job of staying on top of this thread! So glad you and your buddy have had fun together! Child, how's it going? Liz, ~Christina, The weather continues comparatively cool, which I prefer over it being too warm. This week has been slow going so far. I am much more comfortable now and can do a few things, thankfully! I hope everyone is having a good day! I'm feeling kinda blah today. I don't know why. I slept lots (for me) but I've never felt more tired. I know logically that one or two nights of relatively decent sleep can't make up for years without it. It's just frustrating. I'm also frustrated with never having help around here. I'm at the point of having to hire someone to come in and help with housework because this place is a disaster all the time because with chronic pain and fatigue, insomnia, and various other physical and mental health issues i'm taking care of two people. My wife is not helpful in a lot of ways. And I'm beyond frustrated about it. It's the one thing we fight/argue about. Not money, not anything else - lack of shared responsibility in domestic issues. I feel like I have a kid more than partner.
Anyway. I hope you all are doing okay today. Thinking of you.

i walked 5 blocks today, to catch the bus (it comes right by my house~!
) i had to go to the store for critter food. they've eaten 2 big bags in a week~!they used to look like this: now they look like this: they want to look like this~! __________________ AWAKEN~! |

I am home. I have great news. The growth is gone! So is the inflammation!
I have to ask my Dr. to have an ultrasound done on my thyroid. It's acting up and she thinks I might have nodules that need to be fixed. Also, I need a swallowing test because I'm getting choked trying to swallow food and meds. Anyway, I couldn't be happier with the news. Yes, there are still problems, but the big huge one is gone. The leaves have not changed at all, so I saw a sea of green, which was just fine. I did see several deer and they were lovely. I am exhausted. Belle is so happy to see me. I brought special treats back to her. I am too tired to write to each of you but I will try to catch up tomorrow. Know that I love each of you and you are in my heart and prayers.
