For almost a year now I've had blood in my stool and in my urine. The pain has sent me into the hospital 5 times now 3 resulting in a week stay. I've had CT scans MRI and ultra sounds. All come back normal. I'm totally frustrated and don't know what to do. I am in so much pain all the time all I do is sleep. Any advise or anyone ever been like this?

the thing is usually blood in stool and urine dont show up on MRI and CT scans.... when this happened to me my medical doctor gave me a special test where the next time I saw blood in my stool and urine I collected the samples, and she also asked me about colors and smells of the blood urine and stool. when I gave the answers she was able to diagnose accurately what the problem was and with a change of diet and exercise and sleep habits and a medication change/ adjustments I was soon feeling much better.

suggestion maybe you can get the stuff needed from your doctor for gathering samples the next time you see blood in your urine and stool, then take them to your doctor and let them know what colors you saw, what they smelled like at the moment you saw the blood.
Thanks for this!

Hello wutkephotograhy: I'm sorry I cannot offer anything with regard to your condition. It must be frightening. Perhaps other members, here on PC, may have some suggestions. I wondered, however, if you are also familiar with PC's sister website: NeuroTalk? There are a lot of members there who are quite knowledgeable with regard to physiological / medical conditions. If you're not familiar with NT, you might check out the forums over there as well:

https://www.neurotalk.org/

I see this is your first post here on PC. So,,, to PsychCentral… from the Skeezyks! May the time you spend here be of benefit.

PsychCentral is a great place to get information as well as support for mental health issues. The more you post, & reply to other members’ posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are social groups you can join & chat rooms where you’ll be able to connect with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) Lots of great stuff! So please keep posting!

They have taken samples from each along with at least 50 blood draws. It's not a come and go issue it's a every time I go issue. Just fed up and frustrated. Cause the bleeding is getting worse yet they just keep saying it's in my head. Drives a person crazy.
Thanks for this!

Blood in your stool and urine cannot be all in your head so your doctors are full of it completely. Please get second, third, forth, etc opinions on this. I'm so sorry you are struggling and don't even know a name for what ails you. I've been in your situation and it was devastating. Once you know what is happening, I can't promise it will help the pain but I do promise that knowing the reason for it , and knowing it's not all in your head is helpful. Good luck to you.
