Hi I have Fibromyalgia been diagnosed for 10 years but may have had it from the age of 10, I am 41 years old now.
This week has been really bad having a bad flare-up, in chronic widespread pain but most is lower back and hips. Also feel like I have the flu bad fatigue, head aches. Pain relieve I have is Butrans Buprenorphine Patch 40mg for 7 days, these now are not touching the pain is anybody on any better pain killers. Please can anyone help. ![]() |

We have an entire thread for folks with fibro. PC is a wonderful place, but the folks who post in the fibro thread are extra nice. They will have good suggestions for you. In my case heat helps with my fibro pain. I use rice packs I heat in the microwave or wrap up in a heated throw.

Yes, you're definitely not alone. I take Cymbalta, which helps some. The fibro thread Liz mentioned is very supportive.
