Dear friends,
I have chronic pain. I am looking for a support group, hopefully of like-minded individuals, who also suffer from chronic pain. I am about getting the most out of life. I give it my best every day. I try not to complain too much. And I never quit. How about it, people?

Best regards,
J K S

Just noticed your post

Are you also a member of NeuroTalk? Not that there aren't those with chronic pain here, also, some members have accounts there, as well. You aren't alone.

There are many members at PC with chronic pain, even though the chronic pain forum is slow.

NeuroTalk has been mentioned. Many painful conditions are listed there.

I hope you locate the type of support you are seeking.

Everyone on this forum is positive and mostly cheerful, which I do appreciate sincerely. Sometimes, however, I hurt so badly I cannot communicate with that level of positive outlook. If I did it would be disingenuous, so I just don't post. Right now it is hot and humid, so my hips feel broken, my shoulder is on fire, and my hands are transforming into claws. I am to the point that I am afraid of this pain, of time passing and it just gets worse, feeding me alive to my anxiety and depression. I am so sorry to disturb anyone with this. Forgive me. Sometimes I just have to get it out of me.

6/25/18 1:45 a.m. Candy - I have chronic pain, too. It keeps me up most nights. And I can be anything BUT cheerful when it gets severe. Don't be embarrassed to vent in this forum; that's what it is here for, if you need that. You sound lonely. I am, too. Makes it harder, doesn't it? Hang in there. You have people who care. Best regards, LCoolie

The fibro check in thread pinned at the top of this forum tends to be more active than the forum itself. Come join us. There are members who posted who don't have fibro. PC is a great group of people, but the folks in the fibro thread are the absolute best!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
