i don't know why there isn't a Whiners Forum, just so people who want to can post there without censure; and people who don't want to hear it, can just stay away~!

for example: people who share recipies - 1) i can't remember anything that complicated;
2) i'm not able to stand at a counter that's 9 inches too high (i'm a miniature, but my house isn't) and 'prep-cook' (which i assume means to cut up vegetables or pound meat);
3) i don't eat that stuff~!
4) keep it simple,, silly~ KISS~!

Every damn day my body seems to be hitting the skids. I can't afford to be this sick. Literally. I hate that functional people like doctors and dentists and surgeons are making money at my expense............. Literally.

I've come to the conclusion that being old is an invitation for health care providers to raid your piggy bank. They see you coming & dollar signs start to dance before their eyes! $$$ $$$ I don't want to be "healed"... I just want to be left alone...

I'm off work this week. I had plans to clean up my own house and do things to put my Mom's house in order to put it on the market. I woke up exhausted and in pain today. See the plans go flying out the window.... I get so f'ing sick of this crap!

I can't stand having to be the sanest person in the office or at home, when I don't want to be sane at all.

Thanks, Gus! My friends and family don't want to hear about my pain anymore. I tell my therapist I want to die. She says I have to say"I will get better!" I have to think positive! It's so hard! Damn! My legs hurt and I hate meds! I hate this!! Why did this happen to me? I had a life before November, but then everything changed. I want to go home! I want to wake up from this nightmare! I'm a grandmother but I can't really enjoy my grandchildren. I want to get better. I don't want this pain! I don't want to be nauseous and weak from a medicine and have to stay on it because I tried almost everything else! I want to be off the warfarin but am scared something will go wrong after the 6 months and I will have to stay on it. It's for a blood clot!! Did I say this condition sucks? Spinal stenosis. Most people can sit and lie down! Why is my case different? I WILL GET BETTER because I can't tolerate this new life. ☹️

my house is falling apart; the 'Home Owners Association' (which is an ogre) has over a thousand dollars in fines on externals, but the plumbing is all shot and ruining the floors, and now the wall in the bathroom...

i haven't had any hot water since the first week of january; that means: no laundry (i tried, the washer wouldn't work without a hot water supply ????), no showers (wash in the bathroom sink ~!!!! ). the first time i tried to boil water to wash dishes i scalded one hand so bad i had to keep it in ice for 6 hrs~ (that's BAD). i am spending money on paper plates and plastic utensils, and trying to keep my pots and pans clean with paper towels (not doing it well).

OK, all that is sad n stuff,,, but what REALLY burns my cookies is that this cycle started when Habitat for Humanity came out a year ago (~!~) and did an eligibility intake and assessment of my home and brought in all kinds of volunteer 'contractors' (electrician, plumber, carpenter), who all said "YAH, we can replace this and that and the other thing (and give you an interest-free loan to replace the water heater ,, which was working just fine). so i moved all my furniture, took the doors off the laundry room (not an easy job), and hauled a ton of stuff out from under this huge table, emptied my spare dishes from the cupboard..... and waited.... and waited,,,,, and then they said they couldn't get to me that year, but first thing next year....

but one guy who doesn't know squat tried to 'help me' get some boards under the water heater , and that's how it broke a pipe, and another 'hose' (it's an old mobile home) in the wall between the laundry and kitchen started leaking, which i didn't notice for ages, got Black Mold... now i'm sopping up water off the bathroom floor because i've gone without toilet water for 10 days twice already, and i can't go there again....

now they called again today, and asked if they could come over and bring the guy who's going to replace my water heater~! I DON"T WANT my water heater replaced~! one guy said i "NEEDED" a bigger water heater.... DUH~!
NO I DON"T~! i like this little one, it's cheap and meets my needs.

i was never able to put my house back together again after they left me hanging at the end of October last year... i've been living in chaos, which is NOT good for me... and now i'm so angry that i know i had better leave the room when they are here; which makes me an instant 'victim' of a bunch of men who don't care that i have a degree in construction; have helped build houses; kept this one up By Myself, for 20 yrs. all they see is a lazy, fat, stupid old woman. and i have to swallow that crap to get any 'help',,, yah, THANKS a lot~

so, the Habitat volunteer got the flu, and i hurried my day for nothing~
had a doc apptmt this morning, and lunch with a cousin whose dad died 2 days ago... at least i got a good doc~

Sleep study was good, which means now I have to go for a brain wave scan. Basically an EEG.

Hoping that life will knock me far enough down it can only go up eventually at this point.

When does it end and the stress stops?

Since Aug 2, 2017 I have had three surgeries and seven hospital stays. LUPUS IS KICKING MY ***. Don't get me wrong. I will keep fighting but there are days like today when I wish I didn't have to.

Christina, i hear that your state is one of those hard-hearted ones, that does not condone pain meds... come move to CO and get CBD oil without even a prescription~ (alternately, accept my condolences~!)
