sitting here doing nothing is just the easiest thing to do right now.
showering hurts. eating hurts. eating makes me feel nauseious picking things up hurts. leaning across hurts sitting here typing hurts, but I prefer it to the long sleepless nights and talking to a wall... |

another sleepless night
headphones fell on the floor spider fell on the floor wardrobe... just about fell on the floor too weak to really clear much of it up at the moment I have a new rule: if it falls on the floor, and I don't really need it, it goes in the dustbin |

Having a truly flaming flare! Stress is beyond belief triggering the flare. I don't see any end to the stress anytime soon, so don't see an end to the flare either.

On the 21st I did something terrible. Needless to say I was Detoxed off Xanax. The Phenobarbatol might have soothed the Fibro beast somehow??? Despite being away from home for a week which normally throws me into a horrible Flare. Well I woke up this morning in such hellish Fibro pain and holy hell my Left shoulder was killing me, I have no idea what I did to it Excedrin has helped a little with my shoulder.
I hope its a short lived flare !!!!!! __________________ Helping others gets me out of my own head ~ |

Pain is so bad it woke me during the night.
Stress is through the roof with no end in sight. Major changes going on at work that I have no control over. Best friend is in the hospital following a heart attack and other issues. We weren't sure she was going to make it. Then they put her on a psych hold because she said she was going to kill herself when they discharge her. I hurt. Am emotionally overwhelmed. Just want to roll in a ball and stay in bed. |

I am so sorry about your friend @lizardlady and I'm also sorry that you've got so much going on right now that it's having such an awful impact on your pain levels! If rolling into a ball and staying in bed is what you need, then give yourself permission to do just that!

Pflower, I am struggling with wanting to roll in a ball or taking care of some stuff around the jouse. example - I have so much laundry piled on the bed I have to sleep on the couch. Every single dish in my house is dirty. I'm tired of having to wash something just so I can eat.
hmm, for my mental health it helps me to have a gameplan. I'm going to get clean sheets on the bed. I'll pile laundry in a corner if I have to. I'll wash some dishes, but not expect myself to do them all. |

It gets away pfrom us sometimes ... During those times, the best we can do is just be extra patient, gentle & kind with ourselves. I know, I know ... Easier said than done ... I just wish life didn't have to be so much harder pfor some of us! |

I wore one of my new fibro awareness shirts today. It's the one that says "If nothing hurt when I woke up in the morning I'd think I was dead." Thought it was appropriate.
I compromised on the day. Spent a lot of time curled up on the sofa reading. Got three loads of laundry done. It's all just piled in the basket. It'll get folded eventually. Best of all I got clean sheets on the bed. Just took a shower and got into a clean sleep shirt. One of my real treats in life is to shower, slip into something comfy to sleep in then crawl between clean sheets. Night all. Tain't 9pm yet, but I'm ready for bed |

Perfect compromise & balance @lizardlady ...
And Clean Sheets To Boot! I'd be half tempted to wear one of those shirts to work on casual day! I hope you had a restful sleep, and I also hope you have a good week. |

I'm contemplating wearing another of my fibro shirts under something else one day. Am thinking of the one that says "I don't look sick. You don't look stupid. Looks can be deceiving!"

I have had pain in my left side of my back today and it's pretty bad..
I have been doing a lot of comfort eating too, because, well.... because I can, and because I'm thinking about how bad my life is- or how bad it has become. |
