In a lot of pain today. I think I had a stress flare up of my fibro because the temperature and the barometric pressure hasn't changed much. Trying to do some gentle stretching to relieve some of the pain but it's hard. I don't know if that even works. Just what the doctor says.

Slumberkitty, sometimes gentle stretching through yoga helps me. Don't force yourself to stretch more than you are comfortable with.

when I showered today I tried a new lemon scented soap

and guess what?

it actually smelled like lemon. yeah.... I'm shocked too. most of these scented products only have a bit of scent (if that), but you can really smell this one

I feel like poop. There's another f'ing cold front coming which is making my fibro miserable. Add to that something set off my asthma(cold?). Saturday night I ended up sleeping sitting up on the sofa because I couldn't breath if I laid down!

Somebody bring me some cheese to go with my whine...

I'm sorry you are feeling bad lizardlady. I'm not feeling that great either. Lots of pain today. And fibro fog. I'll commiserate with you. And I'll bring mozerella cheese sticks and we can enjoy them together with our whine!

We had some warmer days which was nice. It is supposed to get windy and rainy several days this week though. Not looking forward to what I know will be a flare-up.

Last few days has been in the low 70's. Today is windy and supposed to be high 50's low 60's. There's definitely a chill in the air and I feel it in my body. Everything is achy. I'm using a space heater at work which does help and I layered up. I have some aspercream and some icyhot that usually will help if my muscles get too achy. I guess I'm lucky because it has been a La Nina winter which means warm and dry but today there is possibility for rain. We do need the rain but the bouncing around of the weather does not help.

I am tired of being in a constant state of pain.

I am tired of the moments I suffer in silence.

I'm tired of hearing myself moan and complain about it.

I'm tired of trying to explain it to others.

I'm tired of crying about it.

I'm tired of cussing about it.

I'm tired of praying about it.

Living like this is a soul crushing experience.

in a recent survey I did on how people's mental health is coping with covid, i was asked to rate my life... 0 being not at all enjoyable, and 10 being extremely enjoyable. I rated it 0, and underneath when it asked why, i wrote... I don't know. I truly am messed up.

I also found out last week that I'd been moved in to the high risk category for falls. exactly what I want to hear. not

,my decline is ever so slowly..... well, declineing. it's not fair- especially at my age.

ditto explaining to others. I hate that part because so many don't give a ****, at least the people I know anyway.

one thing that's helping me cope a little is to not think about how it used to be- once you start thinking about all the stuff you used to be able to do without an issue, it's just more depressing. trying to live in the present moment is a good skill, sometimes, especially for things like illness
