Just wanted my chronic pain pals to know that I will be taking a break so I can pfocus on my physical health issues.

I've requested my account to be closed because I don't want it left open and unattended.

Not sure when I'll be able to come back, but when & if I'm able, I will let y'all know it's me when I return.

In the meantime I'll keep y'all in my thoughts & prayers ...

Love, Peace & Safe Journeys!

I’m currently restricted from running Fibromyalgia Check-In Thread #6 ... however have been walking 15-20 minutes. My new immunologist is out of state. The other immunologist in the practice, I wanted to see to begin with. She was out with COVID and just returned to the office. I had an appointment with her yesterday. We have a game plan and now waiting on lab results.

Howdy chronic pain pals ...

I recently left MSF to pfocus on my physical health issues.

Of course I realized after a day or two that leaving was a HUGE mistake!

That HERE is exactly where I need to be ... So I came back.

Out with the old & in with the new as they say.

I'm sorry to hear this @~Christina ...

Hopefully the neurologist will be able to pfind some answers & help.

Hurting all the time is bad enough so pfalling is the last thing needed!

Often I pfeel as if I'm betraying myself (& my experience) by providing those stock answers instead of saying how I really pfeel.

"Above The Dirt" has become my latest usual response ... Still pfeels like a bit of a betrayal though.

This one cashier at the grocery store (I go at 6:00 a.m. to avoid crowds) carps and moans about all the crap she's dealing with as she's ringing me up. It's obvious the amount of pain I'm in as well as my struggles (mobility cart / two canes / difficulty ambulating) but on & on she goes ...

Sometimes I want to tell her to STFU and to just be thankful that she's still able-bodied & able to work!

Then I think well hell maybe we're all simply doing the best we can with what we've got ...

It sure as hell can be absolutely pfrustrating as hell sometimes though!

I like your response, “above the dirt.”

I use a cane 🦯 when my pain (Fibromyalgia) is at certain levels. I have grab bars installed in my restroom and a shower chair.

I have an account on The Mighty. It has different medical related, mental illness communities, a supportive system, “distract me” and “check in on me.” Etc.

I subscribe to newsletters. I like that writers for the communities will compile a survival kit (Fibromyalgia Survival Kit) based on reviews. Each article includes a list of recommended products when dealing with “Depression” and “Fibromyalgia” etc.

I’ve added several items to my Amazon Wishlist. I recently ordered a foam roller to use after walking or running.

Extra bad pain day today!

Not sure what I did wrong.

Heck, I guess with this stuff you really don't have to do anything wrong.

It has a mind of its own and is just gonna do what it wants to do when it wants to do it!

It's days like today that I cry a little, pray a little & cuss a lot ...

I've posted about this before: but I'll say it again... wouldn't it be nice to have like a switch on your back which you could use to just unscrew it. of course, maybe their would be need to be a back up plan for something under it that doesn't hurt, but especially on shower day that would come in handy. unscrew it when I shower, then screw it back on

doesn't hurt to dream...

Yes, @raging vortex ...

It hurts so bad so often that there's been many times I've wished that I could just remove the affected areas from my body, hang them on a hook in the closet, and pforget they ever were a part of me!
