I'm in the hospital because I almost can't walk. The muscles from my waist to my knees became extremely weak over the last 6 days.

I don't believe I can manage my persistant depressive disorder and this new thing on top of it.

I suspect I've got some form of myopathy. I'm afraid.

I'm so sorry Rose. I hope they can fix what is going on and it isn't myopathy

Turns out I was severely anemic. I was given a blood transfusion, which helped a lot. They kept me 5 nights. Did some tests. I have to go for more. Doctors think I'm losing blood in my gut somewhere. They couldn't find where.

That transfusion helped a ton. But I am still weak and light-headed when I stand up. I live alone now, since my boyfriend died last year. I had been coping with the loss fairly well. But now it all seems too much.

At least when I felt reasonably healthy, I was getting things done. Now I can't keep up with normal, daily activities. Grief, depression, fatigue and soreness are piled up. People used to tell me I was a strong person. I'm not.

Rose I wish there was something I could say or I had a way to lighten your load. Just know there are people that care

And I do think you are a strong person. You are still trying, still seeking help and not just throwing in the towel. That does take an incredible amount of strength. There are many people that if they were dealing with any one of those things would just give up and do something they might not be able to take back if you know what I mean. Feeling not strong doesn't mean you aren't strong.

Thanks, Raindrop. Your post helps me feel less alone. That bolsters my sense of hope that things can improve.
