to help lessen my pain in the shower.
it really, really hurts- so much so that I've developed an anxiety to showering. I have my shower chair, and that's great, but it'smoving my body that's the problem- not just forward and back, but up or down too. I stand up and I almost slip. I sit down and I almost slip, I move and I scream so loudly you can hear me in italy.. I know I need to shower (who actually wants to smel?), butt the pain it's causing me makes it seem so difficult |

I had pain from a degenerative disk that made it necessary to use crutches just to get to the bathroom.
So sorry you are going through this... Have you thought of looking up "David Hanscom chronic pain" on YouTube? Not sure if what he says will help, but maybe?? Hope you feel better soon... |

Does that mean you eat nothing but apples for 3 days? That wouldn't work with my blood sugar. I need protein.

I would recommend fish or chicken, not beef. A hamburger will make me ache all over until it is out of my system, altho i will eat a little beef sometimes for its nutritive values.

It's not something for everyone, though... Another thing I tied which I really should get back into is eating less bread and eating gluten-free (even though I don't have Celiac disease), as that really seemed to clear up my brain fog.... |

If you can afford it, I find that a walk-in shower helps. It has a built-in seat. But it costs way up yonder.
There's also a seat that goes all the way across the tub and doesn't move, too. I got mine at a medical supply store. It's relatively inexpensive. ALso, have you told your doctors about your problem? Maybe they can offer some suggestions. I hope you feel better. |
