serious question.

Someone asked me today what I wanted as a Christmas gift from them.

When I said I didn't know, she suggested a bath (because I'm really struggling with my shower now), and she thought it might be easier

Unfortunately, the size of me makes it virtually impossible to use a tub anymore- I would worry about falling or even having a serious accident

What I really want for Christmas is a body that doesn't ache with pain every god dam second, but I can't ask for that

Not really sure what the next best thing is

@emily1890 I am sorry you are in so much pain. I am not sure what the cause of the pain is. Have you consulted a doctor to see if there is anything they can do.

A friend dislocated their shoulder and they are using a TENS device to get pain relief. Not sure this would help you but it is the first thing I thought of. More on it here https://my.clevelandclinic.org/healt...imulation-tens @CANDC

Hope. You need hope.

I suggest one of those little foot pedal things. There are different kinds. Mine makes a difference in my health when i use it. Im gonna start tomorrow (AND take a shower), i swear.

Emily, how about a shower stool and a handheld shower head? Would that make showers less painful?

Maybe a pretty basket filled with different versions of pain creme such as Aspercreme and some good-smelling (perfumed) creams and powders? and maybe a few low calorie sweets?
