I chanced upon it online. Is this a scam? I mean, it sounds too good to be true? Has anyone here been there and done that?

You know? A chiropractor visited one of the local MS support groups (with permission) but they were collecting money for a future appointment (had to pay to get the appointment.) The presentation left me with many questions, even though on the surface it sounded good.

I didn't go nor buy into it, because I feel sure that if there were such a way to eliminate pain, people would be beating down the doors and doctors would be referring their patients to them (they're busy enough.)THey wouldn't have to be out beating the bushes for patients, and charging up front. There would be massive journal reports and widespread news about it, imo, if it were legit.

Now, this doesn't mean that it won't help someone who believes it will help. There was a study just released that follows that thought regarding the anti depressants. The Whitcomb Method

When in doubt? I always say, "Don't."

The Whitcomb Method

I agree with Sky, that is how I approach these things too.

Later edit: Yikes, I just looked at their web site and the whole thing is full of red flags to me. Especially the "click here to qualify for treatment funds" on every page. IMHO this is a rip off, the folks behind this might honestly believe in it, hard to say.

This can have some helpful ideas on evaluating health treatments.
