I decided to start a new thread for veterans. It's like a weekly or even daily buddy check-in, where you can post how you're doing in your life, in relationships, with transitions, with the holidays, with the VA, with the Vet Center, and more. I left it open-ended for all veterans struggling with PTSD (whether it's combat-related, MST-related, or personal traumas incurred in the military).

I hope you are all doing well this week!

If anyone would like to start a new thread with a new theme, you can. I just wanted to start this one here. I hope that's okay.

I'm a veteran and an MST survivor. I'm doing relatively okay this week, though I'm still missing my daughter very much. She just had her 19th birthday. I placed her for adoption, but I've kept in touch with the adoptive mom. She doesn't want to meet with me via Zoom yet, so I respect her wishes. I'm always here when she does decide to meet me.

I struggle with PTSD, DID, possible OCD-like tendencies, chronic fatigue syndrome, GI issues, insomnia, nightmares, female issues, and some physiological disorders. I am learning to manage my disabilities the best I can through the help of the VA, the Vet Center, and my private therapist.

I hope everyone is doing well this week.
