by talking about it is a way to begin healing. welcome to the forum. may I ask what war you were in? my late husband was in vietnam.

I've worked with most of my PTSD, and some I think will always be with me to a degree as it's so deeply ingrained from childhood.

What helped me was to talk, talk, talk and talk some more...all the details, then bring it up again, viewing it sometimes from another aspect of the memory, etc.

I know where you're at, and I guess the main thing I want you to know is that it *can* get better.
