This combat ptsd forum is full of triggers -- In this room
are some of the secrets carried away from the battlefield
by warriors and those who cared for them -- the
secrets they locked away for fear that these memories
will destroy us like an exploding mortar round.

((Troy))
little confused here...
do you want us to remain silent and keep these secrets?

jme, but writing about many of them, their affects, and how we are handling them is healthy.
most everyone knows this forum is not for the delicate...

if my reply to your post was too graphic, then I will delete it.

Capp ... don't be bashful ... I'm just sayin ... the memories sometimes erupt like a 81mm mortar landing in the mud beside you - pray for a dud round

No one comes from the war delicate, as you know better than anyone.
Fragile, maybe, but not delicate ...

This is the only place I've ever found to tell even part of the stories. Thanks to Doc John, bebop and several others who encouraged me, held my hand (as did the nurses who kept me alive through recovery), and helped me leave the posts in the forum

Salute
T.
