es it kk if me asx sundin heer? me big son wen tu iraq fer a whole yeer, he evn made his 19 bd ovr dare. wen he cum back me big an hur mom dinks dat he has ptsd an evn went an teld 1 uf his comanders, an evn he teld bowt sumdin dat hapen wen he wuz drivin home 1 day. no wun made him go get check owt, an sense bac he es quik tu luuse hes tempr, sense he getd back he becum an EMT, an now a poleese man, but nex week he leeves fer 3 weeks fer combat medic trainin, an in june at furst it wuz iraq but now it afganistan. his furst tore he wuz infantry, now goin as combat medic. me questin es bein a medic safer?

I don't mean to scare you, but even medics can have PTSD. I'm one of them. The company commander should, if (s)he does their job by the book, order a test for any soldier whose family has alerted them to the possiblity of PTSD. My heart goes out to you and your soldier.
