It's really strange....looked at my sig the other day & noticed my horse isn't cantering anymore......wonder what happened....must have changed it where it's linked from or something. I never changed anything.

Did something here change????

Just curious,
Debbie

That poor horse must be exhausted by now.....she needs a breather

She's cantering fine on my computer as well. You may have to clear some cookies and delete some temp internet files? I would give that a try and see if it helps. You may also need to update some of your programs as well?

Thanks guys......guess there is something going in my computer that is being strange. Will have to do some research now.......

I just installed my update on NORTON the other day.....was having problems with firefox working after doing that......will have to log on under internet explorer & see if my horse canters.....some interface isn't right.......

Good thing I asked...lol. Really appreciate knowing he's still cantering....I thought he just got so tired of cantering he quit...lol

Yep.....something with firefox cause IE allows my horse to canter just fine.....guess firefox thinks she needs a break....will have to find out what is missing...thought all my updates were in.....but am sure something is blocked or missing.

More research,
Debbie

Ok, this is really strange.....think my computer has gremlins running around in is.......not viruses.....just gremlins.

I have both Internet Explorer & Firefox on my computer....depending on which one I feel like using. I was getting the hang of firefox.....then noticed my horse wasn't cantering....brought up Internet Explorer & it canters......I haven't done anything to firefox & up until yesterday, my horse still wasn't cantering because I had no idea what was missing or what I needed to do to fix it.

Middle of May, my year was up with Norton 360.....I renewed it & they installed it on both of my computers. I started having strange problems with my computer.....the CPU useage would peg at 100%. I would shut everything down & it was still at 100%. I called Norton & they said they would go through the virus check & clean up my computer for $100.....well, I didn't have $100, so I passed & decided to do a little more playing around with the computer before jumping to the conclusion it was a virus.

Everytime I was running with firefox, it would to the 100% CPU thing intermittantly. I thought it might be the register cleaning program, so I disabled that & it made no difference. I went back to using Internet Explorer & it stopped doing the 100% CPU thing.

So I went back to using Internet Explorer for a few weeks. I then decided to see if I was still having the problem with firefox. Went back to using that & it seems that the high 100% CPU useage has gone away .......not only that, but I looked at my horse tonight & she is cantering again while using firefox.

I haven't done or chaned anything.....don't remember there being any automatic updates lately either.

This computer is sure doing it's own thing. My internet server was having some problems, & they have been down & up constantly with all the lightening strikes on the water towers where all the equipment is.....but that wouldn't have anything to do with things like these problems......

Don't think I will ever figure out the strangeness of this computer......oh well, everything is going good for the moment.....so I will sit back & enjoy the peace for the time being.

Debbie
