For the second time in about a day I've noticed a newish member with relatively few posts (16 in one case, 4 in another) and clicked on their "Find all posts by..." listing to see what they'd actually posted.
Both times, the resulting search brought up one more post than the count showed: 17 and 5 respectively. I tried the same thing with my own post count. Before posting this, the message to the left of my previous posts says "Posts: 490 (SuperPoster!)" and my profile page ("Mini Statistics" at upper right) says "Total Posts 490". When I click on the "Statistics" tab I also see "Total Posts: 490" but when I click "Find all posts by Fool Zero" the blue bar says "Showing results 1 to 25 of 486". ------------------------------------ I dread becoming a Grand Member because I've never been very good at delusions of grandeur. |

For posts, sometimes it takes time for the server to catch up and update the post count. Otherwise, the post count can vary because of some issues - some members post to threads that are then deleted, or posts are removed due to Community Guideline rules, and the post count may or may not change as a result.
Blame it on technical stuff I can't explain if my life depended on it. ![]()

Post counts will not always be exactly the same for technical reasons. Sorry about that, but it's just one of those things...
