Didn't we used to have one? I can't seem to find it anymore.

I was just thinking about the change in General and Social Forums on the main page and the fact that it wasn't announced (unless I missed the announcement). I think something as important as that should have deserved a thread of warning. JMO.

I don't know, but I do like the change.
It clarifies each forum very well.

Oh, I am not saying I don't like the change. I do and I think it makes a lot of sense. But I just think it should have been announced. A change like this can trigger some folk who don't do well with change.

Amen to that! I'm not triggered, but am emotionally fragile tonight. Came here to chill and center myself. Instead the forums are rearranged and I'm all discombobalted (sp?).

DocJohn, who does the changes on the forums is usually very good about announcing those changes. Since there was no announcement, I'm sure it was unintentional. He's a busy guy and may have gotten distracted while in the process.

Point well taken ((((( Sabrina )))))

Thanks for this!

I may be missing something. I thought it was just a renaming from "General" to "Other" to emphasize that it wasn't so much for discussing anything and everything before taking it to one of the more specialized forums, as the place for issues there didn't seem to be a more specific forum for.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
