Starting around 10:15 PM Pacific time (05:15 GMT) I was getting persistent browser timeouts for every forums.psychcentral.com page I tried. Other sites and even the Psych Central front page were coming up just fine. I kept trying again every few minutes and around 10:35 (I think it was) everything started working normally again.

Afterwards, I thought I saw someone else mention having had difficulty posting around that time but I can no longer find where.

I had the same problem last night, only I couldn't even get the PC front page to come up.

Yes, there was a network upgrade performed at our upstream provider on one of their network switches. It was supposed to only take a few minutes, but apparently it took a little longer than that. Sorry about that.

Just an FYI to other members....this also affected the chatrooms and members got booted a number of times during the upgrade.

Are there other upgrades occurring? This website has slowed down considerably. I compared it to other websites to make sure it wasn't my pc and the others are performing per usual.
