Before I attempt this myself, I thought I'd see if anyone had tried or succeeded in this before.
I was thinking that if a site is specific to a subject, they may want to just include certain category results in a normal .shtml page and not post a link to the script. They may also only want to display the results and not a search box, etc. e.g., putting an include statement in a page to call /cgi-bin/pod/pod.cgi?dir=/Regional/North_America/United_States/Florida/Recreation_and_Sports/Fishing/Guides_and_Charters/ and only show the links to sites in that category and not the rest of the page, headers, footers, etc. This would also help in search engines as it would show up as a normal page on the site and be spidered.
