Why is there no forum on anger? Or did I somehow miss it?

Anger is an emotion that can fit in to many forums. I think it is a good idea to look where and what your anger is about. For example you might be angry because you were abused therefore it would be good to talk about the anger in the 'Survivors of Abuse' Forum. Or you might be angry because of depression in which case you could talk about it in the 'Depression' forum. In my opinion anger can be a healthy emotion and can be expressed here in many forums.

A full on 'Anger' forum would not be appropriate on a support forum but there are places it can be expressed.

Hope this helps.

Thank you (((((((((( pegs )))))))))))) for giving a great response to jb28's question!

We've discussed an anger forum a number of times. We kept coming back to the same thing....this is a support site and having a specific anger forum would really cause a lot of issues with members and with trying to keep it within our site posting guidelines. Our guidelines state that any post that isn't asking for or giving support are not suitable for PC.

We are not denying there is much anger at times when it comes to mental illness. Like pegs so eloquently stated, whatever your anger is stemming from you can most likely find a forum that fits and post there.

Thank you for asking the question jb28.

Take good care!
