Usually the weekly newsletter arrives in my inbox early Wednesday morning before I'm even up but this week's hasn't shown up yet.

-- Has there been a delay in sending them, or should I worry about my Yahoo! e-mail?

-- If it doesn't come through in a reasonable time, is there any way to have it re-sent or to view a copy online?

-----------------------
I checked again 3 hours later and it had arrived. It was timestamped about 5:30 Pacific time (8:30 Eastern) as usual so it apparently spent unusually long in transit. I haven't been able to access the message header yet to see what servers handled it when.

Well, I did finally get to the message header. By my reading:
  • It was received from the sender by "mcsv3.net (PowerMTA(TM)" at Wed, 10 Feb 2010 08:21:24 -0500
  • It was received by Yahoo! Wed, 10 Feb 2010 11:03:42 -0800, more than 5 hours later.
There's no mention of anything else handling it in between. It sounds as if it arrived in my Yahoo! inbox right after I posted the preceding.

Thanks, pegs! I had that Twitter link bookmarked as the place to look for updates if the forum shut down or something, but I didn't realize it would also show the newsletter.

Your link is https, mine is plain old http, but they seem to get me to identical content.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
