This happens to me all the time too. And sometimes when things are moving nice and quickly I have to wait as much as 10 seconds!!

I've seen that message maybe twice since I've been here. One of the times may even have been when I didn't think something was going to go through and tried again to post it.
I go for longish posts so it almost always takes me a lot more than 30 seconds to finish one. Now if I were trying to count to a million or something, that feature could seriously hold me up.

Yes. The timer fails to take into consideration some of us can read and type faster than that!
The worst is when it's at 2 seconds..and you've clicked like 20 times and it still says 2 seconds. Time moves faster in my head than on the internet. |

ACK! I kept on clicking the post button several times once (not that i'm impatient or anything, i'm just goofy when I want to be :P).
Anyway, seeing that one second made me think: "WOOOOOW." -_- But I'm glad that I'm not the only one who goes through this!! XD XD XD Ty for this thread Pegasus!

I am actually of the mind that this would be better set to about 20sec instead of 30 - simply due to the games forum.

I agree, it does not bother me anywhere else on the forum but I like to play games and it gets very annoying when someone else is playing at the same time. But having said that, I realise it is probably there for a reason so I can live with it.

It's been changed to 20 seconds... We need it there for other reasons, so I can't do away with it altogether.

I just want to say thanks again. Chopping those 10 seconds off has made a huge difference and I am rarely told to wait now.
