I have windows 7. And one of the things I had at the bottom of the screen was a button I could use to change the size of text. I had the option of l00%, 125%, 150% and even 200%. It is really cool because different web sites I can just push a button and change the size...

Welllllllllllllllll, I might of been pushing buttons again. I am not sure exactly why that "precious" easy access button vanished. I want it back. Where do I go to get it back. I want it up front and on the screen at all times. Just like it was orginally.

Anyone know where I go to find the option to put it back.....???

Note: I found where I can go and change sizes, but I don't want that one. I want where that option is on at all times at the bottom of the screen.

I think it was a zoom option

Was this button at the bottom of your web browser window? Or was it in the task bar of your screen desktop?

I use Internet Explorer, and at the bottom right corner there is a button that says 100%, and it has a drop down arrow I can click to change the zoom level of the text. Is that what you mean?
I noticed that if I go to the menus at the top left, click View>Status Bar, it will disappear, and if I select that again it will reappear.

I realize that this may not be at all what you are talking about, so if it's not, I apologize! I hope you get it back soon.

thanks darkrunner... looks like we both found it. yup, i was pushing every available button and discovered under tools that when the status bar is checked the zoom options appears on the right hand of the web brower.... not sure how it got "unchecked" in the first place.

Must have been the old roaming mouse with a mind of its own...mouse was doing all kinds of weird stuff.. this new mouse is driving me nuts ... is a USB mouse, whatever that means, if anything...is not at all like the old mouse with the red ball.....in fact i seem to be deleting my responses because this the the third time i tried to write this..scrolling is a new world, lol, with the new one.....never a dull moment around here.......

USB is just how the mouse (and keyboard) connects electronically to your computer. It should be no mystery.

lol..... guess that shows my "computer smarts"... As long as I don't put the keyboard in the dishwasher, there is still hope for me..

Have always just plugged a mouse in and all was well. Could scurry about here and there with no problems. This new mouse, well the right click doesn't do much, the left click takes me to places I don't want to go. The middle click, well I have no idea what it does. And things do mysteriously get deleted without my command.

I thougt a mouse was a mouse. Some have red balls.. Some have red lights. This mouse is ball less and no red lights.. Just a simple mouse. Should be easy.. Right!
