Other forums I've used in the past have had an option to hide signatures. It allows you to have a much less cluttered experience - how do I do it here? I'm spending more time reading signatures than comments!

i think you have to have your signature first before you can can hide your own. i dont think you can hide others tho if they put them up.

I think this might be what you're looking for.

Go to My Profile > Edit Display

Scroll down to the Thread Display Options.

The first section is called Visible Display Elements where you can click checkboxes to de-select the display of signatures, avatars, and images.

You have the option to show or hide various elements of messages, which may be of use to users on slow internet connections, or who want to remove extraneous clutter from posts.

That's great. Thanks. I've been wanting that off and on too but didn't know we had it here. That way I can hide the graphics that people put in their siggies that slow down the loading of the page. I wonder if there is a way to hide the graphical ads too?
