John or Ozzie will change your name. Then you will use the same name to log in, but a different name will show up with all your posts. That is what mine does.

Is your avatar the right size? If it is too big it won't show up.

But Ozzies said that to get the ball rolling with my name change I had to request a "name change in my profile" but I cant see where to do this. Any ideas?

Go to "My Profile"

Then click edit under the "Main Configuration" for Personal information, email, password, etc.

Underneath your login name it says display name. Type the name you want to change to there and hit submit.

I think that should work.

My aviator was one I picked from the standard ones. Maybe I dint submit or something. I will try again

Glad you got it to work. Let me know if you still need help with the avatar. You're not dumb in the least!
