when i click on the chat button at the top, it just opens a grey square and does nothing else.

i use firefox, windows 7.

anyone know what's going on?

I don't know exactly but it sounds kind of like the page hasn't loaded fully or something along those lines... Silly question, how many times do you try to click the chat button?

When I have those issues it usually takes a few minutes of waiting for it to behave correctly. Also have you tried refreshing the page after trying to click it?

waiting longer worked. but then i accidentally closed the site, it lets me log in, but when i go to the chat it says username already in use?????

lately the site has just been slow, RyuB,,, let's blame it on Sun Spots, or our tremendous popularity,, i know i often try to go faster than the server can keep up... patience pays

Good luck. Windows 7 doesn't play nice at times. I use mozilla as well... have to go in "through the back door" docjohn provided. Click on "No Pop Up Chat" and then on the next screen "ENTER CHAT NOW" that will drop you into the lobby and you can proceed from there.

(I also find that any windows updates reinitiates the windows defender ...I use AVAST and having both of them blocks the chat window for me as well. I have to disable the defender each update.
