Hi mellors,
We used to be called Dawntreader, we've met you in chat or somewhere.
We think we'll just keep posting in comments til this problem is resolved by DocJohn.
Have you got your pBlog under same nick ???
We changed our name because Dawntreader merged & our new name means "a nest of hornets".
pBlog thing a drag but we are Beta testing it after all. Probs signing in to pBlog

Sorry, I don't think I ever made this clear...

You don't have a user account with the free blogs to start with. You have to register as a new user. Once you do so, you should have no problem logging in. Sorry for the confusion...

Doc,
Do you mean we have to register as another user ??? I've only got one real ISP address, won't it reject me ??? Do I need to make new ISP addy ??? Can do that.
Still keen to pBlog, don't mind changing user name.

Zorah, it is a "different" site. You just need to reregister. You can use the same username and the same password if you want. From what I can see, you have already done that because you have a blog up. If you used a different password for that account you will have to sign in that way. Does that make any sense?

Let me know if I can help.

Thanks 1dayatatime,
That all makes perfect sense, but it still wont let me sign in.

Perhaps I did use a different password, but I've tried the only 4 that are likely, & I still get the same result.

Why not try clicking the "Forgot your password?" option? That should help you get your password. Usually it will either reset your password or email it to you.

Unfortunately there is no "forgot your password" option on the login for pBlogs.
Anyway I don't think I've forgotten it.
I've emailed them about it, it turns out none of the links on the Home Page work either.
After all we are Beta testing, there could be lots of problems.

There is a forgot password option. It is right under where you login. Here is where it links to. Reset Password

Are you sure you are on the right page? Everything works fine for me.

Hi _Sky,
The easiest way to get this info is to google "Beta testing + definition". If you can't do that i will explain. Probs signing in to pBlog

According to Doc John's recent post I don't think it is still being beta tested. Usually beta testing is open to only a few people and not for general viewing, which this site is.

I could be wrong, but I am thinking this is a new feature in addition to PC that is offered to the general public. They're still could be problems that arise, but that is true with any new program...or old program.
