How about a "search by author" button in the forum tools menu? Would be a big help for those of us *blush* who forgot to subscribe to their own threads... and now can't seem to find it.

do you mean about having trouble finding what you have posted. I do that alot. I find my posts though very easily. I click on my name at the top tight hand corner of the page. its i blue for me.

I click on my name. that brings up my own profile. I click on "statistics" that brings up a page that says "find all posts by amandalouise"

I click on that and theres all my posts I have wrote.

Once you find your previous posts, you can still subscribe to (and unsubscribe from) those threads with the dropdown menu from the "Thread Tools" button. In case you haven't already discovered it, it's in one of the blue bars across the top of every page that shows a thread.

You can also change your settings so that you are automatically subscribed to threads you post and threads you respond to:

Click My Profile
Select Edit Options
In the Messaging & Notification section, select an option under Default Thread Subscription Mode.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
