Um this has probably been discussed before but I've not seen any way to tell if someone is a male or female by their userlookup. sometimes I wish that were possible because reading a post the reaction I'd have would be different for a boy or girl (I'm not sexist it's just if they wear a dress or not or that kind of thing xD)- also age but I know this is more of a privacy issue. Any thoughts anyone?

Hey Turquoise,
It's nice to 'see' you. ![]() This was brought up before: http://forums.psychcentral.com/showt...ghlight=female I was just recently thinking about this too, because sometimes it is really hard to tell. I hadn't ever realized that some people don't want their gender to be known. |

I agree ....I respond differently depending on sex.I also hate to avoid the mistake of assuming their sex based on their name...thereby offending...But u only get to know if they divulge the info...

I would prefer to know also and I'm fine with being clear I'm a woman. One time in the sexuality forum, I told the person to go have their estrogen levels checked, mean while he was a man lol.
