Hello,

I am being logged out of my account here every time I attempt to post, refresh the main page (or any other), or simply when I click links in forums so I may view threads. Yes, my browser is configured correctly and sufficiently updated, or else I wouldn't be asking for assistance. Please let me know if there is anything I can do, or perhaps this is a more widespread technical issue that may require attention.

Thank you!

1. When you log in, do you check the [ ] Remember me? box? I keep mine checked, so I get logged back in seamlessly even when I go for more than an hour before loading a new page.

2. Your browser is set to accept cookies, isn't it? Mine shows several from both psychcentral.com and forums.psychcentral.com.

3. Once in a while when I run an anti-spyware scan, even though I didn't ask for it I find that some of my cookies have apparently been cleared. I then have to log back into sites (including this one) that usually "remember me". Could you have something running on your system that clears your cookies or logs you out even during a session?

I hope some of this helps you identify and fix your problem.
Thanks for this!

Thank you for your reply, Fool Zero. I have ensured my browser allows cookies, and everything else you mentioned is good to go on my end. This is the first time I've been logged out so frequently; the anomalous nature of the recurrence is what made me think something may be awry! I shall double-check to make sure nothing on my laptop is impeding my stays on the site.

Thank you for taking the time to address this concern, I do appreciate it!
Thanks for this!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
