If there is an issue/concern with a post and there are several moderators at the bottom of the forum, how do you know whom to contact? Are the different colors of your names an indication and what do they mean?

I apologize for not having figured this out by now. Thank you for helping me with my stupidity.

Fresia--

Thank you for asking your questions and there is never a stupid question, nor are you stupid. We all had to learn at some point.

You can report the post to any mod/admin. If you scroll down to the bottem of your screen you can see who is on at the time. There is also a read triangle below the name of the poster in the post that you are wanting to report, you can click it to report a post and it will automatically be reported. No one will know you reported the post except mod/admin.

The colors indicate the difference between admin (red), supermods (purple), and mods (green). But you can report the post to anyone who is on. The easier way to report a post is to click on the red triangle and report it that way. Then if some of the Team Members are not on at the time it will be reported directly so that whoever is on will see the reported post.

Again thank you for asking. I hope this helps and if you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.

THANK YOU DPS!

In looking at the triangle, it indicates it is only for "spam, advertising msgs, problematic (harrassment, fighting, or rude posts.) Though seemingly under "problematic", does this include material that might need a trigger icon? Can it be used for this or is it more appropriate to contact a moderator directly?
Thanks for this!

I won't cover what DPS already said, but I figured I'd answer the later questions in this thread.

A moderator moderates a handful of forums (ones where they are listed at the bottom of the forum) while a supermod has moderating capabilities in all of the forum sections.

Fresia, you are more than welcome to use the Report function to report posts that might need a trigger icon. Otherwise you can PM a moderator directly if you choose, but you can use the Report feature for a post that may require a trigger icon.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
