Does anyone have any good tips for cleaning keyboards? Mine seems to be a magnet for cat hair and dust, static cling or something. I'll take a feather duster to it and the stuff just comes right back. They make Endust for electronics, right? Geez, I should just go look instead of asking, duh! Google, here I come.

I have this thingy that blows air into the keyboard and gets the dust out.

Compressed air? Yeah, I've used that too. I want something that helps repel the cat hair from sticking to the keys in the first place. I could knit a small scarf with the hair that I pull out of the darn thing.

The feather duster may be putting a static charge on the keyboard and making it worse.

If you want to spend the money, they make tiny vaccuum cleaners specifically for getting in between the keys of keyboards.

I usually just vaccuum mine wholesale with a brush attachment of my regular vac. Doesn't pick up all between the keys though.

Can of compressed air to blow the dust out is a great idea too.

Finally maybe get a cover for the keyboard for when you are not using it to keep extra dust out. Does the cat like to sleep on the keyboard? A cover will go a long way if you use it consistantly.

To clean it out I use a vacuum cleaner and the brush like attatchment. and when my keyboard and computer are not in use I made covers for them. I know that you can buy the actual dust covers for them but I can't remember what store I saw them in.
