Hi, I don't know how to locate an administrator, so I'm inquiring here about how to control which of my albums appear on my profile page. There are currently 2 showing, with a 3rd that's hidden until "show all albums" is clicked. I want to swap one of the visible ones for the one that's hidden. That's problem #1.

Problem #2: I have cleared all private messages, but still have a blank field where the drop-down list of moods should be. I have to click blindly to change the mood. It's the same thing with the buttons for entering the different chat rooms. I see nothing, just the pointing finger cursor, and have to experiment to find a particular chat room. Any suggestions?

#1: I only see two albums for you, whether from your profile page or in the Show All Albums listing: "dogs in my life" and "my artwork". As far as I can tell, albums are automatically arranged according to the date of the newest picture and only the two newest are visible from your profile page without using Show All Albums.

#2: We had a discussion about the mood changer here: Can't get this to change. Whatever problems with the mood changer I might have mentioned at the time, a few months later I did try displaying a mood and found I was able to do it (and later to undo it).

Thanks FoolZero for your input. Maybe its a Firefox and Javascript issue. I'm able to change moods, but I don't get a list of moods. They're invisible. I have to click blindly, randomly and then see what's displayed on top in the "my mood" box. Likewise, the area to click to change chatrooms is also invisible. Guess I have to keep trying to solve the glitch, maybe through Firefox. Thanks again.

Can someone help me post my profile picture to where it should be.....under the name in left margin, and also to appear in chats. Thanks!!!

I had a very frustrating time trying to move photos from album to album, reorganize or simply place photos where I wanted them, I sought help to find out if it was even possible here. With no response, after a long while (still waiting) I contacted the company that provides the gallery program. Here is their reply:

Hello

If you are a member of some site using the gallery you can contact that site directly on what policies they set down for their members. We are a software company and have no control over how an owner of a licensed copy of the software may set their permissions. If they do not allow you to move your images around into other categories or edit things after you post there is nothing we can do to assist in that regard. They as the licensed customer who own a license and operate the software on there server can set which ever permissions they want.

Still, with no solution, I deleted all my photos in the gallery until I can figure out how to post them the way I want them.

The image called a profile picture is displayed only on your profile page. The one that's displayed in the left margin next to all your posts, PMs, etc., is called your avatar. For example, my profile picture is a tarot card; my avatar, which you'll see at the left (unless you have avatars disabled) is a cat with a bug on its nose.

There's one link on the Your Control Panel page for uploading a profile picture and another, about six lines farther down, for choosing or uploading an avatar.

Hi lavieenrose,

I wanted to let you know I'm an administrator here and for the life of me, I don't believe there's a way to change the order of albums unfortunately. They're chronological - meaning your most recent albums are displayed first. I do see your three albums, but they won't change order unless you remove an album and re-upload the oldest one (which is the one I assume you want to appear on your main profile).

Lavieenrose, I'm pretty sure your albums are automatically arranged according to the date of the newest picture. Try uploading another picture to an album that's not showing. I think you'll find it'll rise to the top.
