I recently joined here, & it was letting me post answers in Q&A, but the next time I tried to log in, I was unable to post in Q&A or log into that section of the site, so I created another account for the Q&A aection, but the same thing happened with that account. I never received a registration activation e-mail for either of my Q&A accounts, & it doesn't send me a password reset e-mail, either. (I have 2 e-mail addresses already, so I didn't have to create a new e-mail address.) Does anyone have the same problem or know what to do about it?

Send a PM to DocJohn
Be sure to tell him you have 2 accounts already.

Welcome!

It took me quite a while to figure out what that avatar was, (JD).

As I understand it, forums.psychcentral.com (these forums) and answers.psychcentral.com (Q&A) are separate systems and use different member names and passwords. I've never registered at Q&A and my Forums login doesn't get me in there.

Right now I can think of only one person who's a member of both -- and they do use a different name for each one.

Yes I remember seeing you answered in Q&A. I'm a regular answerer there(Bella). Remember you have to register and log in separately - meaning I log in here and if I go there I have to do the same. Is there a chance you forgot your password? If you're still having problems then let Doc himself know. I never have problems logging in there. Wih I could help you more.

Yes, it does take two accounts. I have both with different screen names... and I just signed in to PC Answers without any problems.

I think this issue needs to be given to DocJohn as it appears to be a technical one? Just my POV.

(((Cupcakequeen)))

I didn't recall the having to have a registration email to reply to... hmmm could it have gone into your spam folder?

Thanks for all of the answers. Yes, I agree that it must be a technical issue. I will let DocJohn know if it really starts to bug me. For now, I think I'll just let it go & continue on in the regular forums.

Speaking of Q&A...what's a "trigger" icon?

Here you go:

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
