Sorry, but it isn't always easy to find out who is moderating the forums or where the crisis phone numbers are. Any possibility of creating an easy, fast and readily identifiable link at the very top of PC page so members can send the fastest alert possible if it sounds like someone needs immediate help?

There's a blue tab at the bottom of the forum's main page that says "View Forum Leaders"...here

Great suggestion Leo! I hope that PC will make that info readily available.

Indie'sOK - while I realize I can find the forum leaders if I go back to the main page, I still think it would be helpful to have an "EASY" button at the top of every page (maybe under Quick Links) that I could use to quickly find the crisis phone numbers as well as alert leaders. It is easy for me to get flustered when I read a post by someone who sounds as though they need intervention or a response from someone quickly.

I know from reading other info here that almost all of us are not in a position to try to talk someone out of doing something harmful to themselves.

So, I guess that's why I'm asking if there is a way to add in a Quick Link so we can provide a crisis line as well as alert a forum leader.

It'd be a good thing to suggest...maybe send DocJohn a PM?

Send DocJohn a PM? That's a little scary for me. Would he mind? Is it ok to do? I'm so used to politics at work and sending things up the chain of command...

No, it's perfectly ok, he doesn't mind at all..maybe even instead of asking about it straight away in the message, just ask him to please read this thread and give a link to it, if it's easier.

I'd love to act on this suggestion, but we don't have the functionality right now to send a PM to a set group of people. I'll look into if it's something we might add in the future.

I will put the helplines button in the footer as requested.

Thank you DocJohn. And a special thank you to FooZe for sending me more info on how and where to look for links.
