im not shure im saying this right,so let me try again,im still learning about the computer world & protection & my question is if someone puts a websight to go see, should i assume that its safe & not a spammer & if not is there a way i can tell weather or not to go on it ? or should i just stay away & not go there ? i hope this makes sence ! doese someone check the sight to see if its ok before they post it or is it at your own risk? sence im new im just asking the questions before i try ,actually i did try one & had no problems, but then my son brought it to my attention that spammers & i think he said bloggers can make the computer run slow & or they can send a viruse ,im assuming this is a very safe sight i have no problems here & i love it so much ! thanks for being patient with me oh & im not shure how to do the mail either like the privet messages in my mail box iv been trying to figure that out as well ,sorry if someone sent me something & i havent figured out what to do with that to write to the people that sent it , k i hope some can guid me on this journey !

When in doubt...don't. I use the latest version of Firefox w/ NoScript, AVG anti-virus, and Malwarebytes anti-malware.
The AVG provide real time protection and will tell you if sites that come up in a search are safe. Also a couple of times it has warned me of threats after clicking on blind links that are sometimes posted in forums or on facebook. It then gives the option of going ahead or getting out safe. The NoScript will keep sites from running malicious scripts if you do happen to visit a site with malware. Malwarebytes will scan your machine for malware and will quarantine any if any is found. All these programs are freeware and perform as well and probably better than anything your computer came bundled with. Never download "free music" software and if you use P2P always scan rar's and zip's before opening. Good luck and stay safe ![]() |

I don't think they check if every site that is posted is safe, all the links I've opened so far on this site were safe. If you open a link and it is spam you can report it by clicking on the report post button.
It is always good to have a up to date anti-virus program on your computer to protect your computer and your information.

I would take into consideration how well you know the person, here, and what the site "is" and decide based on how good your security is and consideration of what might happen.
