In the lower right-hand corner of everyone's profile page there's a box with the names of people that have visited the page. Some of those names (actually most) have a plus sign ("+") after them, some don't. What does that plus sign mean? Take care.

i think the + is for people you are friended with.
(yes, friend is verb these days)

Yes I wandered this too and then I worked it out that it was the people that I am friends with.

I agree - the + sign indicates you're friends with these people.

Yup, but I have noticed, if someone befriends you, they no longer appear on your friends list, but the + sign remains. Two people have befriended me and there are still +'s next to their names.

Sabrina, did you mean "defriends"?
I'm not sure but I think the + sign might show up for contacts as well as friends. |
