Hi everyone,

I have noticed that there is a success stories section for the depression forum, but not for any other section. I know that for some mental illnesses, success stories aren't as common, but wouldn't it be fair to add this section to these forums anyway? I believe there are positive stories of recovery for more mental illnesses than just depression.

What do you guys think?
Thanks for this!

Sorry, just wanted to bump this up again. I'm surprised nobody else has replied to this thread! I find it very important that there should be a section in other illness forums to post about success stories.

Depression is, I believe, the most treated MI--maybe that accounts for it.

But I agree that your post ought to have had a response. There are success stories in every are, & I'd like to hear some. Some days that sort of thing could possibly make a difference--when I'm feeling hopeless, knowing someone sometime had wrung a victory out amess such as mine would be great.

Oh, yes, I agree that success stories in other forums would be nice. I would like to read about that in my area even successes with medications etc.

I agree with Melissa; success story sub-forums for all conditions would be great!

Maybe it would help for starters if those who display some level of being a success story weren't seen as devalidating to other's feelings.... especially for doing things their way.

Just sayin'
