Lexi, hon, PC isn't the worlds greatest place to look for more than the most absolutely minimal computer advice. What I do in similar situations is, first, try to boil down my problem into one sentence (this can take quite some time) and then, second, pop that sentence into google and check out the responses.

Yes, I know it would be very nice if the good folks here at PC were able to help, being trustworthy and all, but there just isn't that depth of experience and understanding here when it comes to computers. Take care!

Lexi, have you tried clicking on the "forgot your password" & followed that through? I'm wondering whether maybe you have a second acct on PC that you didn't realize you had opened, one using that Yahoo email.

Just a thought.

When it comes to an email addy change that would be specific to PC, it is probably best to pm a mod/admin privately so that we can look up this information and get the right answers to you.

Y, it has nothing to do with a computer problem hon.

Lexi, your request has been sent to DocJohn at this time. Sorry about the issue and I hope we can resolve it to your liking.

Hugs from:

Yeah it was fixed
I think my roomate at the time signed up with that email addy so that's why it was stopping me from doing so.
Thanks everyone for giving suggestions and helping me with this!
I'm really glad!
