They can read and reply but you won't see their posts. You block yourself from having to deal with them. No, you can't control anyone else besides yourself.

You can ask the person you don't want posting in your threads to not do so. I had another member ask me to not comment in their threads, and being a person of honor, I've honored their request.

I'm proud they asked directly, and I hope you can bring yourself to do this too ... Private Messaging is excellent for this. The reason I support it is because it kind of empowers the person making the request as most of us have often been afraid of asking for what we need ...

I didn't realize, nor was it my intention, to post replies that upset this poster (or any other), but let's face it, we're all in different places in our healing and recovery processes, and what may be helpful to some, may not be so to others ...

Of course, if this person does not respect your wishes, then the only other recourse is add them to your block / ignore list ...

Sincerely,
BC

Just bear in mind that you do still see that that person has posted, but that they are chosen to be ignored (or whatever the wording is). Doesn't help the curious!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
