Hi, these might be daft questions but I'm just wondering what the symbols mean for the ratings against the forum thread titles? I tried looking under the page called 'ratings' but couldn't answer my question.. (Not sure if I was using the wrong device maybe??)...

Where should I be going to find out how to use this site in relation to the basic technical stuff?

When I leave a response what do the notification categories (Notification Type) each mean? Some made a bit of sense, some didn't.

How can I find out more, including what I need to do to add my tags.

Any answers or direction to where can I find out more info would be a great help.. Cheers!

For symbols, are you referring to ones like these:



If you are, those are just post icons and don't mean anything except for the red ball with the x, that's a trigger icon, and the one with a floppy disk means there is an attached file in the thread, and the one with a checkmark and boxes means there is a survey in the thread.

The other ones are just to add if you want.
