I tried to access the chat rooms today and I got a message saying I had to download the latest version of Adobe Java. I downloaded it twice, and restarted the computer, and I cannot acccess the chatroom still. I am still getting the message to download adobe flashplayer.

I am on Firefox.

Thank you, Tinkerbell. Unfortunately, I have been involved a lot in chat prior to today and I had all of the flashplayers and java. The chatroom asks for adobe plugins, and i download them, but it still asks for the adobe plug-in eventhough I have downloaded it. Yesterday, it was fine and not a problem. I am running security scans, reading up on adobe 11 and firefox. Trying to find out why I suddenly cannot access it when I could before. I was just wondering if this program was at all compatible with the new adobe. Could it be firefox itself.

I might have to request a new password for chat if it is only a problem on firefox. It automatically logs me in and i cannot remember the password here to log in on other browsers.

Sounds like you need to update your version of firefox. That's why updating your flash doesn't work.

You can look up your saved Firefox passwords:

I don't mean to throw another log in the fire here--unnecessarily--but I was having problems with Firefox reading Flash the other day. I think (but not for sure) that I had the newest release, but I installed it again, and so far, so good.

Fooze, I copied my password and logged in on Chrome and got into chat. Thank you. DocClyde, I tried to uninstall and reinstall Firefox on various levels and it still blocked my access, so I guess I will have to go to Chrome to chat here.
Thanks for this!

Doc clyde -- for members with iPad (future reference). Tapatalk HD is easier than photon flash for chat rooms!

Hi, I'm having trouble logging into chat too.
I'm using Safari and my pop-up blocker is turned off.
Can you help figure out what's wrong?
Thanks!

What's happening when you try to connect to chat?

Have you tried using the "no pop up" chat? Some folks have to use that instead of just being able to connect the other way.

If that doesn't work for you, you may want to try Google Chrome, Firefox or even the dreaded IE *shiver* LOL.

It is only in firefox, as far as I know, that I cannot get into chat. I have not used IE in years now. I don't care for Chrome, but right now, it is the only way for me to get into chat now. Firefox seems to permanently have a problem with the new adobe.

Chrome is weird...sometimes, it will say that my password is incorrect and other times it will be fine and all times it is the same password. I just don't care for Chrome. (sigh).
