Hi,
I have a question about spirituality discussion on the forum. I am aware that we have the Sanctuary forum, but it seems to exist only for the purpose of prayer and other support. I'm not looking for support as much as intellectual conversation (I hate to use the term "debate" because that sounds hostile) Is there a place on PC where I can discuss spiritual ideas? NOT religious, or else I would visit the Christian social group. I'm not so sure they want to hear me ramble on about agnosticism/atheism. I apologize if there is already a social group set up for this purpose - I looked through the list but might have missed it. The reason I haven't joined religion-type forums like BeliefNet is because I don't really feel comfortable posting anywhere except PC. People tend to get pretty fired up when someone challenges their convictions. Thanks! __________________ Only you can prevent neurotypical jerkiness!

We tend not to have intellectual discussion forums, because they will inevitably call into question other people's beliefs (not just religious, but in general), and as much as people say they'll behave themselves (not looking at you specifically), these kinds of topics get people emotionally charged and want to speak their mind.
You are welcomed to start a social group for such discussion, however. Any member can begin a social group. DocJohn __________________ Don't throw away your shot. |

I'd completely forgotten about the "All Faiths" social group - thanks DocJohn
