i think their are 2 people ignoring me and want to check

Thank God there isn't a tally taken on who ignores you, like the hugs given feature - that would be super depressing lol.

I wonder though - if someone does have you on ignore and you send them a PM - would you get a notification it didn't go through? If no then, we could be pouring our heart out to no one and then think they don't care? For example if someone has their setting to only receive PM from contacts and a window notifies you "this member isn't receiving PM's"...could the same thing be done so we don't continue trying to talk to a member who doesn't want to talk?

I suppose ignorring would be better than an angry reply to a post. I sometimes do wonder if I'm annoying people and they want me to go away though.

I have been told by a few members that they have put me on ignore status because they don't "agree with my lifestyle choices".

My lifestyle is relatively quiet and reserved but my sexuality (gay) was determined before I was born. It hurts my feelings all the way around when people shun me.

Okay, how is that different from thinking someone has you on ignore or not? Unless you are stalking the person, know when they are online and when they are not, you have no way of knowing when/if they get your PM and/or if they have time to reply or other things are going on in their life, etc. Personal/Private messaging is not "instant" messaging!

My motto is assume the other person cares and likes you until they tell you they don't and ask you to go away and leave them alone Why assume they don't (whether or not they tell you they do :-) when it's all one's own assumptions anyway? If you are going to jump to conclusions, make them good ones rather than bad ones? If you have a choice between a swimming pool and a mud puddle; choose the pool?
