TeeHee - - - My son placed that word on here after he saw Canders use it last night in the chat room.... and YES, the computer did let me post after 4 days of none posting, but it is the old computer in my sons room and not the good fast new one that I use in the living room.... Phooie Spit Spit.

Guess I will have to steal my sons internet cable for a while - lol - if he will give up his Xbox Live that is.... NOT!!! - it will have to be a fight to the finish....

LoVe,
Rhapsody -

Dear Rhapsody,
Try going to microsoft.com and download the upgraded version of direct x then go here and upgrade your java from this site: http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp
as this is the official sun microsystems download
site for java and you will get the most upgraded version there. Good luck. -Trevor

OK - i am still having problems POSTING on here (and other sites) from my main computer with AOL on it, but not on my sons computer with only Internet Explorer on it - i have done at least 10 things to fix or rebuild many items and still no good.... AOL is having their big guys that actually created the program to check on it for me and to see if it might be their server that is causing the issue.
Cross your fingers for ME and hopefully i will be back in a week or two.... MISSING YOU ALL!!

Glad they are helping you with it. I think... that AOL is an ISP, and IE is a browser. When you are using your computer, what browser is the default browser?

I find it hard to believe that the AOL guys don't KNOW it's them... because if it's their server, more than a few ppl have complained. Can you not do a search even by google? I'll google the complaint if I can, and see if others are posting somewhere about AOL's problem IMO they would have said it wasn't their server, if it wasn't.

PC will be here... take care of yourself!

I found this in a bulletin, if it doesn't address your direct problem, maybe you can hunt around a bit and find it from there?

That happens to me all the time. Just refresh the page with the F5 key. Sometimes a site has too much traffic to handle.

The PROBLEM was...................... the FIREWALL on my computer filter that I have had for about 8 years now - I updated it to their new version about a month ago for better protection and it had a slight difference in its set up and that little thing STOPPED me from browsing and posting...... so what I did was to disengage the filter firewall and kept only my AOL FIREWALL running.
>>>>>> You now what they say: to many cooks in one pot spoils it all and that is true for browsers and firewall's - - - one per computer please.
