Something like that only happens to me if I've been idle for too long and it automatically logs me out. I'm not sure how long it takes for that, so perhaps that is what's happening. When that message appears, try hitting the Back button, post something then try giving a hug or thanks again (but to a different user). If it still gives you that message, then there's a bug.
