Hi, Doc John or relevant person’s

I was wondering if possible and if other PC members thought it was a good idea if there could be a forum or sub forum of journals. A place where members can go and get their thought’s out, the one’s(thoughts, feelings) they don’t mind sharing without necessarily needing a reply or comment from other members but more just to share the thought’s they have worked through or are currently working on. So that forum or sub would be a place where that member can revisit their entry’s and other members may gain insight just viewing. Also if there was a regular place where members went to post journals then maybe it would help each other out by seeing others also working on something.. (I can’t quite get my words out here to explain myself; I think you may get what I mean). As well as some members may find it useful just to go there and jot down in a journal the things they achieved each day or maybe a journal of things to do next which they can then go back there and keep a record of things. I hope you don’t mind my suggestion. Does any other member think this may be a good idea and something of use to the members on PC

Not sure but I think I remember something like this being asked before on wither the psychotherapy board or the dissociative disorders board. psych central does have a journaling area... its the blogs button at the top of the page in the tool bar. the way to get a blog is pm'ing doc John.

another idea too is getting journaling software like microsoft, or the Journal or Memoirs or any other journalng software that can be bought at microsoft or amazon or like mine at walmart.
Thanks for this!

Hi Mindinpieces,

We do have a section where people can sign up for journals, and write (and others can read and comment).

You will find it here: http://psychcentral.net/ There you can start your own journal as well.
