all the other forums..... anxiety, depression, eating disorders, bipolar... they all have one- so why not self injury?

just something i was thinking about today- that maybe their should be one

There is no reason other than we put success stories primarily under diagnoses and disorders. Self injury is not a diagnosis, but most often a symptom of another disorder. Therefore one could share one's success story in that diagnosis forum.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I avoid the SI forum. I haven't self-injured in years, but out of self-protection I don't go anywhere near the forum.

I think I shared the time that I went a whole year without SI in that forum. And some other posts about going x amount of weeks/months.

i suppose their's always the people that self injure that don't have any actual disorder

forgot about them..
